Our women’s cooperative struggled to find the financial resources needed to start our farming business. The Group Micro-Finance Support Program provided us with a micro-loan that allowed us to purchase seeds and farming equipment. The financial literacy training taught us how to manage our finances and save for the future. With continuous support from Akamwenhu Initiative Uganda, our business has flourished. We now supply fresh produce to local markets and have created employment opportunities for other women in our community. This program has truly empowered us to achieve collective growth and economic independence.
