Simon is passionate and strongly believe in the power to love, unite and transform lives and the chain continues when transformed people transform communities and that follows his founding story behind Akamwenhu Initiative Uganda. His story with the nonprofit world and rural communities seem to to be intertwined. With 10 years of rural community experience, Simon has been a volunteer with many community led initiatives, Youth leader, Church administrator, Men leader, Leader of Discipleship and trainings and has personally witnessed and overcome excessive vulnerability. Married to Sarah and together they have 3 lovely boys

After studying Public Administration and Management at Uganda Christian University, Simon had a couple of career options: Work with the University, or work with the the nonprofit world where he spent most of his time volunteering that he actually believed in and now ended up founding Akamwenhu Initiative Uganda, he hosts a weekly team of rural, semi-urban and urban team of pastors where his dreams remains uplifting the church and ministry leaders a level they can perform effectively. Simon has consistently been referred to as the pastor to the pastors within his community
